National Institute Of Technology, Silchar (राष्ट्रीय प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान, सिलचर) is one of the 31 National Institutes of Technology of India and was established in 1967 as a Regional Engineering College in Assam. In 2002 it was upgraded to the status of National Institute of Technology and was declared as Institute of National Importance under the National Institutes of Technology Act, 2007.
Being a student of Computer Science and Enginnering in NIT Silchar has truly upgraded my personality, my skills, passions, determinations and me as a person, and I am truly greatful to be a part of the grand NIT journey.

Taking up Computer Science in my intermediate in DPS Duliajan was really a good choice, as this is when I truly became passionate about computer science. The faculty were amazing in making the foundations clear for me to take up CSE seriously as a career path in the future.
Leaving Academics aside, DPS Duliajan has truly helped me develop my co curricular skills in various other fields, such as Quizzing, Sports, Debates, Singing, Art, etc.
