Image Super Resolution using Generative Adversarial Network

Computer Vision Project on a Super Resolution GAN based Image Super Resolution model, tackling the problem of increasing image resolution without simple interpolation algorithms. This was a final year college project under project supervisor Professor Prabhakar Sharma Neog.

Auto Evaluation of Summaries using Textual Entailment

Natural Language Processing project on a Transformer based Abstractive Text Summarizer, with emphasis on an LSTM based Sentence Entailment architecture to facilitate auto-evaluation from a GUI itself with minimal human interaction.
This NLP project is being carried out with fellow research intern Saranga K. Mahanta under Dr. Partha Pakray - NIT Silchar, in collaboration with Dr. Benoit Favre - CNRS Lab, Aix-Marseille University, France

Facial Feature Detection and 3D reconstruction

Facial Feature Detection and 3D reconstruction using python-blender scripts, image processing algorithms and Microsoft deep3Dreconstruction repository.
This Computer Vision of 3D reconstruction project was completed under the supervision of HereAfter - Mumbai, a Game Development and VR company. This project was directly used by the Unreal Engine toolbox to ro render 3D assets from real time facial pictures of clients to interface into the virtual environments provided by HereAfter.

Skin Cancer Classification

Deep Learning Algorithms, such as Convolutional Neural Network - based Cancer Image Classifier, making the best out of an unevenly distributed biased dataset.
2nd position, Machine Learning Hackathon, Machine Learning Club NIT Silchar.

Covid‐19 infection‐happiness index - Data Analysis [Python]

A simple regression based Data Analalysis of the current Covid Situation across the globe, analysing happiness index and finding a correlation with infection rates

TalkOverInternet - AWS based multi‐client chat application

GUI Chat Application using NodeJS Backend and React Frontend, along with Express and Socket.io, and AWS DynamoDB NoSQL Database Facility.

Speech-to-Bengali Translation using IBM Watson

Using IBM Watson Speech to Text and Translation Libraries under the IBM Applied AI Professional Certification Course, I made this translator converting English spoken mp3 audio files to a native Bengali transcript (as Assamese was not available under the IBM Catalog of Translation possibilities).

Signal Noise Removal using FFT algorithm - MATLAB

Noise reduction to recover a target signal from an input waveform is important in a number of fields. We usually use a frequency spectrum to remove noise from the input waveform. Although it is difficult to distinguish a signal from the noise in the time domain, this task tends to become easier in the frequency domain. We would be manually adding noise using Random Function coding and then trying to retrieve the original waveform by Noisy Waveform Restoration using DFT.

MAGERUNNER: Text based Adventure ‐ OOP project

This game is a text-adventure type of game, where the game proceeds like a story. Depending on your choices, the program will evaluate your score, relationship with various elements and characters in the game and your overall Level. These attributes and scores are saved using OOP concepts for loading/saving game mechanics. The texts are being called in by the ‘Delayer’ function to give it the Type-writer effect, along with the sounds.

Computer Science Society, NITS - Website Development

Computer Science and Engineering is probably the coolest branch in NIT Silchar with the highest number of placements and talented minds. The Computer Science society is one of the most active socities, engaging constantly to upgrade itself along with the reputation of the institute. The main objective of the Computer Science Society is not only the overall welfare of the students of Computer Science and Engineering but also the students of other branches to a great extent.

CPU Design and Architecture - Logic Simulator

Computers have come a long way from mechanical devices capable of maybe one calculation per second, to CPUs running at kilohertz and megahertz speeds. In the early days of electronic computing, processors were typically made faster by improving the switching time of the transistors inside the chip - the ones that make up all the logic gates, ALUs, Control Units, etc. But just making transistors faster and more efficient only went so far, so processor designers have developed various techniques to boost performance allowing not only simple instructions to run fast, but also performing much more sophisticated operations using circuits instead of using simple ALU instructions. This is what is covered in making an advanced CPU – the architecture and organization of various aspects that make up a CPU.

SUDOKU GAME - OOP Project [C++]

This C++ program implements a Sudoku Game which was our Object Oriented Programming (OOPS) Lab project. This game has 3 difficulty modes, which enables the user to give input to a pre-existing Sudoku board, along with a Sandbox Mode, which allows the user to customize the entire Sudoku board. Me and Mayur Raj Bharati are still working to bring more subtle changes to the interface as well as the gameplay. Feel free to suggest any changes.
